Entries for the KSTL Digital Media Competition must be original work and must not infringe copyright regulations.

2015 Update: All graphics and music must be student created and/or be creative commons royality free graphics or music. KSTL will no longer except Fair Use as a citation for using copyrighted music.

Advisors must oversee the student production process to verify that KSTL copyright guidelines are followed and that students will be eligible for placement in the competition. Failure to do so will render the submission ineligible for "Top 6" placement in the competition.

If using Creative Commons, please have students cite their materials within their presentation and present it to the judges. Please follow this format when citing:

 

Images: Publisher Name, Photo Title, Date Accessed, Creative Commons Attribution

Music: Publisher Name, Music Title, Date Accessed, Creative Commons Attribution
