Summer MACE - 2010

The Mid-America Association for Computers in Education will be hosting their annual Summer Conference in Wichita.

Sessions are planned for all grade levels, most curriculum areas, the novice educator who wants to start using technology, and the advanced technology using educator. Our strands integrate technology in the classroom and tie those integration initiatives to state and national standards for curriculum.

The next generation of MACE conferences will feature web based applications and activities accessed from any browser. Participants will be required to BYOT (bring your own technology). This creates the opportunity for all participants to have technology in their hands during sessions to facilitate learning.

Some sessions will still be non-web based applications, so it will necessitate having the software preloaded to your computer prior to the session. We will do our best to provide opportunity for trial versions of non-web based software selected to be “hands-on”.

We hope you will find new technology skills and resources as well as have a fun time networking at Summer MACE.

The conference size is limited so enroll early to make certain that your participation is guaranteed.

A very big thank you to all the vendors, presenters, and participants at our conferences. Without the efforts of many volunteers, these conferences would not exist. This is truly a conference of, by, and for technology-using educators.
