What is MACE?

The name of this organization is Mid-America Association for Computers in Education.

Membership in this organization is composed of those who have attended a MACE conference during the current fiscal year.

• provide an association for sharing and exchanging ideas, techniques, materials and procedures for groups now using or planning to use technology in an educational environment,
• promote and encourage appropriate use of both hardware and software for the improvement of education,
• bring together for their mutual benefit, both operational and professional specialists concerned with the use of educational technology, and
• cooperate with manufacturers, distributors, and commercial operators of technological equipment in establishing and maintaining proper technical standards and in meeting new needs for specialized devices and systems.
